Life lessons from video games

It has come to my attention that some people might criticize and say that ALL video games are violent, stupid and a waste of time. However, in my opinion it isn't. I have to admit that there are some games are like that, but not ALL. For me, I don't play much of those games but I have played those that are educational and give life lessons.
I'll name some of the games I've played that have this kind of lessons. The first game would be Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4. You may not know this but this game actually teaches a person about facing the truth and being true to yourself. Instead of living in a life filled of lies and not having the courage to stand up the truth, you seek the actual truth and not living in a life of lies and letting your curiosity go.

Another game would be its predecessor, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. Like the title itself it is the same series, but the game teaches a person about continuing on living. It reflects on how life is. Going through many obstacles while balancing you own school life, teamwork and friendship. Through the obstacles ahead, you find yourself having a choice to even sacrificing you life for the sake of others, losing the ones you love, and beginning to move on as their sacrifice won't be in vein, but most importantly, you begin living your life fully and not waste your life.

I guess I'll wrap it up with my last favourite game, Kingdom Hearts. Now to start off, of course its a fantasy game but a rather unique one. Playing a fantasy game that included all your childhood memories is fun right? Like Donald Duck, Goofy and Mickey Mouse. To my point, the game itself teaches friendship. Even though two friends are separated, they are not necessarily separated as both their 'hearts' are still connected. The other lesson would be light and darkness. Choosing between light and darkness is like choosing something good or bad in reality.
